Piranesi sculpture

Top-quality crystal requires top-quality craftsmen, and presenting such products to the recipient is never a problem. The process involves cutting, grinding to achieve smooth crystal lines, and polishing. A handmade unique piece cannot be compared to industrial production – it is a work of art that has its own story and personal touch. The awards sculpture are handmade and uniquely crafted from larger crystal blocks, which are then cut by master craftsmen into the shape of the Piranesi award sculpture.

Glass sculpture for Piranesi Award was designed by Slovene architect Ajda Racman who won 1^st prize at student tender, organized in 2017 by DESSA gallery and Ljubljana Academy of Fine Arts and Design.
