DESSA and PIDA teams at the EUmies Awards 2026

Anja and Jure were invited by the PIDA organizing committee as lecturers at the Piran Days of Architecture in 2024, where they also received the international 2024 Piranesi Award for the aforementioned project.

A member of the PIDA organizing committee, Špela Kuhar, also nominated them for the EUmies Awards 2026 in 2025. At the award ceremony in Barcelona, 7 members of the PIDA and DESSA teams were present, who were delighted with the great success of Slovenian architects.

On Tuesday, 12 May 2026, the most important European architectural awards, the EUmies Awards 2026, were presented in Barcelona. The 2026 Emerging Winner went to Anja Vidic and Jure Grohar for the project Temporary Spaces for SNG Drama, Ljubljana.
