Petr Pelčák is practicing architect in Brno, founder of Pelčák a partner architekti. He has received numerous awards for his architectural work. He is author and editor of many publications on architectural theory and history, as well as articles published in both professional and society magazines. From 2003 to 2016 he taught at the Faculty of Architecture at Brno University of Technology, where he was appointed professor in 2008. He is a member of S.V.U. Mánes, Sächsische Akademie der Künste, Deutsche Akademie für Städtebau und Landesplanung, and co-founder of the Obecní dům Brno association.
