Mojca Gregorski is an architect and Associate Professor at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Ljubljana. Her research is primarily focused on the study and design of educational spaces adapted to contemporary pedagogical approaches, as well as on the development of interdisciplinary planning methods. She actively participates in various research groups, takes part in national and professional committees, and collaborates closely with both the private sector and public clients. Since 2009, she has led the architectural practice KONTRA arhitekti (ex. MODULAR arhitekti), whose work is characterized by the search for a balanced relationship between contemporary architecture and the local context, tradition, and memory. In addition to numerous educational facilities, her portfolio includes urban design projects, residential and commercial buildings, sports facilities, heritage renovations, design and exhibition installations. Her realized projects have received numerous national and international awards. Notable among these are the Plečnik Medal, seven times she won national Golden Pencils awarded by National chame rof architcts (ZAPS), multiple nominations for the Mies van der Rohe Award and the Piranesi Award, selection among Europe 40 under 40, a WAN Award winner, WAF and THE PLAN finalist as well as main prizes from public competitions.
